Fullerton Architects is seeking an energetic and experienced Revit designer for our Los Angeles office to help our vibrant team on a wide range of high-end residential projects. We are interested in hearing from enthusiastic and driven individuals with 3+ years of architectural experience with proficiency in Revit Software and a passion for developing detailed drawings.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Participate in all phases of design (Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Construction Administration).

  • Generate Construction Drawings that can be technically implemented within the constraints of the project goals, budgets and within local ordinances and codes.

    • Renderings to communicate design to clients, and inform internal design direction.

    • Construction drawing development, plans, building sections, wall sections, etc., a well put together BIM model.

  • Collaborate with a team of Architects and Designers in developing design solutions.

    • Help integrate other consultants' work (landscape, structural, MEP) into ours to better the final built product.

  • Share expertise to ensure a quality design and documentation process.

    • Take some ownership of each project to look for ways to make a building better for the client, the community, the builders, the other consultants and the climate. Also for ways to help our firm be more productive and streamlined.

  • Demonstrate a high degree of competence, capability, and architectural experience.

  • Perform assignments that may require the development of new Revit family elements.

  • Apply skills to minimize risks and seek means to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.

  • Preparation of and checking the accuracy of construction documents.

  • Work to meet or exceed office standards.

  • All other duties assigned by the Principal.

Your Qualifications

  • 3+ Years professional architectural experience, preferably in residential architecture.

  • Fluency with Revit required

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites required (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

  • Possess a balanced blend of design and technical skills

  • Knowledge in the design process, construction documentation and construction administration

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to meet scheduled deadlines.

  • Excellent organizational skills and client presentation skills

  • Passion for providing exceptional client service

  • Collaborative and professional work ethic
