Executive Assistant to the Principal and Office Administrator to the team of Griffin Enright Architects, Immediate availability is desirable.

Griffin Enright Architects is looking for a highly enthusiastic, self-starter to join our team. A candidate with excellent writing skills and strong visual acuity is highly desired. Having a background in Art, Design or a related field is preferred but not required. To succeed in this position, you must be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. Your daily tasks will involve the management of the schedules, meetings and deadlines of the firm’s Principal, as well as those of the General Office. Being detail oriented and possessing excellent language skills is a requirement. In this position, you will be on the front lines of new and exciting project proposals. The firm offers the opportunity for growth within the company based on performance. 

Full-time, Salary Position, with Health Insurance, Vacation Days and 401k Benefits. Compensation is commensurate with experience. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide focused administrative support to the Principal by maintaining calendar, expense reports, answering phone inquiries, and managing office contacts in Outlook

  • Draft correspondence on behalf of the Principal to clients, consultants and others

  • Organize, manage and facilitate schedule of the Principal, as well as that of the General Office

  • Keep track and update deadlines of all current projects within the General Office

  • Assist bookkeeper with input and filing tasks

  • Assist with office development outreach, including setting up client introductory meetings.

  • Assist with media & publication outreach.

  • Support marketing outreach with written summaries and image file organization.

  • Maintain updates to design awards matrix & research award deadlines.

  • Order and manage office supplies consistently and schedule office cleaning


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including excellent grammar and spelling knowledge

  • Experience working in a creative environment (i.e. design/architecture firm, arts/cultural institution, production company, publication, or PR firm) is desirable

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to create and maintain effective working relationships

  • Ability to strategically prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines independently and efficiently

  • Must be a self-starter and have a demonstrated ability to work independently

  • Detail oriented with consistent organization habits

  • Ability to multitask and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure
