BASILE Studio is looking for an experienced project manager with a passion for creative problem solving, efficiency and thrives in a fast-paced environment. We are a unique DESIGN and BUILD studio that is fully vertical in its integration of a multitude of different craftsmanship capabilities, ranging from hotels, restaurants, multi-family developments, custom homes to products. Our custom fabrication studio creates everything in the shell along with all the interior components that make up the whole. Never have this many facets been integrated into one company to provide one-stop for our clients and our developments.   • You are very organized and detail oriented. You feel at your natural environment putting tasks in order from micro to macro level and making sure it is always up to date.
  • You love working independently. Need little guidance, have no problems improving and owning the project, and are comfortable making decisions. You can prioritize tasks aligned with company needs and direction.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment. Change is not a problem! Also, great at time management even with short due dates.
  • You are a natural creative problem solver. You enjoy identifying problems and working to fix them.
  • You enjoy talking to people. Communicating clearly, constantly and effectively is no issue to you both in writing and verbal. You can deliver tough messages when needed, and use that opportunity to motivate and engage team to accomplish end goal.

  • You will be responsible for the project management of multiple full-scale projects as well as small individual one-off custom items. Included but not limited to:
  • Collect necessary info, priorities, and time estimates from internal team members and outside vendors and general contractors to create a feasible fast-paced plan to complete the project efficiently
  • Create and update schedules
  • Project Schedules including design, all custom and procurement items, shipment time and installation. Factors in the company’s capacity levels, general contractor’s schedule, and client’s expectations
  • Master Schedule including all projects showing general workload for Design, Engineering and Fabrication for macro scale projections
  • Department Schedules including all projects showing workload of custom items relevant to each Department
  • Make all schedules highly visible to team
  • Check in with team members on their progress and help problem solve roadblocks and bottlenecks to ensure we meet deadlines
  • Ensure projects are on schedule and in budget and be the scheduling point of contact for internal team as well as external clients, vendors, general contractors, etc.
  • Collect status updates from team to analyze and efficiently report progress back to management
  • Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Fabrication and Admin teams to develop standards and streamlining the process while still allowing it to be adaptable and fluid due to the highly custom nature of work
  • Every team member is required to support others, whether its scheduled help or stepping in when they need it.
  • Clear communication and ability to prioritize are crucial to keep the team going.
  • We all must operate with a sense of urgency while still delivering a high-quality product.
  • We are all required to wear multiple hats, not just for your team but for the company as whole and contribute to our overall culture.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in business management or similar preferred
  • 5+ years Project Management experience required
  • Highly values efficiency and able to visualize complex processes
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to visualize macro scale planning as well as micro scale details
  • Familiar with building codes and various fabrication and construction methods
  • Highly organized with a drive to create structure
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with diplomacy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Ability to learn new technology
  • Seek out opportunities to do more than expected
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software required.
  • Proficiency in an ERP system (material and project management software) and ClickUp preferred.


  • This is a full-time position
  • Annual Salary Based on Experience: 65k-75k
  • This position will be based out of our office located in Downtown San Diego
