GTC Design is seeking a talented and proficient BIM Manager to join our fast-paced team. We are a small boutique firm that started 5 years ago and continues to grow at a rapid pace. Come be a part of something truly exhilarating!  

Our office currently consists of 11 young and aspiring team members with architecture, interiors, and business backgrounds looking to create purposeful work within an office culture set up to maximize individual growth and success. We are extremely busy, with an abundance of projects and dynamic design opportunities in the pipeline, and ultimately look to expand our team within further job captain and project management roles which is why we need an experienced BIM Manager to join.  

The BIM Manager will engage with GTC’s project teams and be ready to fill challenging project delivery knowledge gaps. You will grow GTC integration through ongoing education to increase our Digital I.Q. You will lead tool integration, adoption, and on-demand support for project teams. You will be responsible for leveraging data to continuously measure and optimize BIM adoption efforts. You’ll also contribute to the integration and development of visual programming across projects to bolster GTC’s Design Technology adoption.

  • Teach the team great modeling.
  • Set a strategy for the continued BIM adoption for all projects in the studio.
  • Engage with project teams to fill challenging gaps in the adoption of Revit. 
  • Develop BIM Execution Plan (BEP) based on contractual requirements and conduct BIM coordination meetings with consultants to set expectations for its execution.
  • Actively participate in projects by providing support through all phases of the design and delivery process.
  • Connect with project teams throughout the studios to discover and prioritize engagement opportunities.
  • Deliver accurate monthly & quarterly reports of studio BIM adoption.
  • Be active in the improvement of GTC's support team.
  • Conduct model performance analysis and publish reports to project teams.
  • Lead and participate in various technology-related R+D efforts and special projects.
  • Support Management in technology acquisition, contract review, and renewals to reduce cost, increase adoption, and track ROI.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent career experience.
  • Preferred 5-8 years in an architectural or engineering practice experience working on a large scale, complex projects in the areas of Hospitality and Multi-Family Developments
  • Have a practical understanding of the Design and Delivery process.
  • An exceptional ability to demonstrate proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Ability to build Dynamo scripts.
  • Experience with training professionals in technology tools and concepts.
  • Have the ability and willingness to learn new technology quickly.
  • Have a solid technical knowledge of G-Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Have excellent presentation skills and the ability to keep an audience engaged.
  • A passion for technology and a problem-solving mantra.
  • Have the capacity to work independently within a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and is enthusiastic and flexible.
