RZAPS (Ricardo Zurita Architecture & Planning) is a collaborative, award-winning firm with a focus on projects that enliven public life in the city.

Our projects are diverse and include a broad spectrum of project types from new buildings to historic renovation. Our mission is to develop unique, process-driven designs in collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders from private clients and public agencies to community groups.

We are looking for the next key player in our dynamic design team: a full-time Intermediate Design Architect with a minimum of 3 years of experience able to undertake a variety of tasks and responsibilities. The position provides opportunities for accelerated professional growth including experience with a range of project types and with the public review process. Our horizontal collaborative work environment ensures that every member of the firm meaningfully contributes to elevating the quality of our projects.

We are looking for candidates that meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s (5-year) or Master’s Degree in Architecture
  • Passion for design
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Schematic Design through Construction Documents
  • Computer Drawing Skills including BIM (we use ArchiCAD), AutoCAD and visualization software, including Rhino
  • Enthusiasm for following projects from inception through construction
  • Interest in contributing to projects that undergo public review
