Our New York City, NY office is currently seeking a Project Architect to join the Architectural Practice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and exposure to a wide variety of public and private sector projects, including but not limited to K-12, rail & transit, infrastructure projects and public works.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead/assist a project team in the development of architectural design and the preparation of construction documents including drawings and specifications.
  • Communicate with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure coordination of project requirements and collaborate as necessary.
  • Responsible for product research and coordinating technical aspects of the design of a project.
  • Keep Project Manager and Principals informed of progress, issues and/or need for assistance.
  • Follow corporate and/or client standards for project production and review.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments and manage time effectively to meet project deliverables.
  • Develop presentations, designs and technical solutions through all phases of a project.
  • Produce conceptual renderings for project and presentation purposes.
  • Experience with construction support including review of shop drawings, RFI’s, site inspection and reports.
