Our client is a nationally recognized design firm with an award-winning mixed use, retail and hospitality portfolio. They have an immediate need for an Intermediate Architect to contribute to a multi-family residential project and complex retail space with F&B components.

This position is competent in all conventional aspects of architecture and the production of high-quality project design, as well as documentation on time and within budget.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years' experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited architectural program with Bachelor's level degree.
  • Experience with Mixed-Use, Hospitality, Retail and Institutional work. Renovation experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of building systems and documentations.
  • Proficiency in REVIT is a must, Rhino, Sketchup, InDesign, Photoshop and other rendering software.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Communicate with team, clients and consultant/contractor representatives effectively.
  • Proficiency with required computer software (Revit, Autocad, Photoshop).
  • Assist Project Architect in coordinating necessary tasks for a variety of projects.
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of all project related assignments.
  • Prepare and produce design and construction documents, including enlarged millwork details.
  • Translate design concepts into floor and furniture plans, building assemblies and material/product specifications.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, codes, and construction methods.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment.
  • Complete research as needed.
  • Participate as appropriate in contract administration.
  • Travel to Project Job Site or Design Office as required to facilitate design and construction under the direction of the Project Architect.
  • Contribute as required to the overall quality and success of the project, studio and firm.
