As KPF has grown significantly in scale, reach and complexity, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to manage the day-to-day operations of our New York new business team.

 Aptitude + Experience

You will have enough experience to jump right in and serve as a player/coach, both supervising and collaborating in the trenches with your colleagues, producing compelling work and leading by example.

You are, for lack of a better description, both “left-” and “right-brained.” You can tell a great story, but also have the ability to manage complicated processes, often coordinating the efforts of a lot of people.

You boast an array of skills and interests, but can switch gears quickly between them, from running meetings to writing text to critiquing graphics to managing production.

You seek a place where every day is different, with diverse tasks and multiple deadlines.

Role + Responsibilities

You will serve as the office’s go-to resource for new business support, managing the conception and production of responses and materials on a daily basis.

You will contribute input and expertise to all of our RFQ/RFP responses, while leading key ones yourself.

You will co-manage our content development, along with a colleague from our communications team, to make sure it is both compelling and catalogued.

You will manage our graphic design team, coordinating various assignments to support new business development, PR and the studio.

Reporting to the Global Marketing Director and select Principals, you will work directly with your counterpart in London, and advise colleagues in Shanghai, to ensure our global team is unified in terms of approach, information, assets and operations.

Opportunity + Investment

Perhaps you are working at a small firm right now, doing a lot, but hitting a ceiling. You’re looking to be part of a larger team, owning some portion and contributing to others, collaborating with colleagues across disciplines to help secure commissions of a greater scale, diversity, geography and impact.

Or maybe you are at a large firm, but feel it is too franchised. You’d prefer to work within a more centralized, unified structure in which you confer directly with senior-most leadership and make a broader impact with your efforts.

Either way, you are looking ahead, charting a path that allows you to play a critical role at a firm that is world-renown for design excellence, but still maintains the spirit and opportunity of a small practice.

You like to think of your job as owning a condominium, rather than staying in a hotel. You want to invest in where you are, creating and improving systems, generating and refining content, becoming deeply knowledgeable about people and projects, and being a key contributor for the long term.

If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you. Please send a cover letter, resume, work samples and salary requirements to David Niles at Please note that candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
