Dattner Architects is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing institutional studio. The selected candidate will work as a pivotal member of the design team on all phases of project development – from concept presentations and design development, through construction documents and administration – for K-12 public schools and other education projects in the New York area.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture Degree
  • 15+ years’ professional experience
  • Architectural Registration 
  • Experience working with the School Construction Authority required
  • Able to take ownership over one or more projects through all phases of design and construction
  • Strong design, 3d presentation, and graphic abilities
  • Outstanding project management and client relationship-building ability
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills, including a deep understanding of NYC zoning and building code, Construction Set development, and detailing ability
  • Motivated, focused, and well-organized
  • Able to communicate effectively with internal project teams as well as all project stakeholders
  • Team management experience required
  • Hands-on proficiency and fluency with Revit
  • Functional knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, 3d Studio Max, and/or Rhino
  • Authorization to work in the US
