Description:

SITELAB urban studio is looking for an intermediate urban designer to join our San Francisco team. Our ideal candidates have experience working on strategic design projects, as well as an ability to communicate clearly through visual language (diagrams, models, maps, and sketches). We are a fast-paced office — we look for designers that are curious, engaged, ready for a challenge, and have a sense of humor. You’ll learn a lot and have great opportunities for growth.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in urban design, city planning, architecture, or landscape architecture and 3-7 years working in a design capacity post degree. Fluency in AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Excel is required. Based on current project needs, a master’s degree as well as employment experience in an architecture or urban design role with experience leading massing studies, managing development program tables, and navigating building and planning codes are preferred. Applicants who do not meet the preferred requirements but who have other relevant experience are still encouraged to apply.  Project management skills, rendering experience, and proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape and GIS are a great plus.
