The Digital Practice Director will partner with the Digital Practice Principal, Managing Principals, IT Department, BIM Managers and project teams to evaluate, develop, implement and support new technologies and firm wide standards. 

  • Manages Firm wide REVIT standards
  • Coordinates all BIM/digital design logistics 
  • Creates and maintains firm-wide standards for digital design technologies and processes
  • Organizes and maintains firm-wide education and training needs
  • Organizes BIM updates to all staff
  • Provides QA assistance at project milestones to ensure BIM model consistency and integrity.
  • Responsible for quality assurance of BIM projects
  • Works with Project Directors & Project Managers on BIM execution plans and interface with contactors and client BIM groups
  • Attends team kick off meeting for new projects to assist in the BIM approach and the BIMX plan.
  • Assists Principal of Digital Practice with research, evaluation and introduction of new and emerging technologies and processes and firm-wide roll outs.
  • Facilitates regular internal design technology meetings with all staff to provide updates and leverage their experience and receive feedback.
  • Collaborates with IT department to ensure proper installation and maintenance of all digital design software, hardware and peripherals firm wide.


  • 10+ years of experience or equivalent in all phases of architecture or engineering, including substantial and varied experience in project documentation.
  • Must be fluent in Newforma, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, BIM 360, BIM 360 Glue, REVIT, Autodesk Navisworks, Auto CADD
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or construction discipline or equivalent.
  • Additional industry certifications desired (CM-BIM, Autodesk Certified Professional, etc.)
