Junior Interior Architectural Designer

COOKFOX Architects is seeking a Junior Interior Architectural Designer with 2-4 years of experience.   This position focuses on interior architecture work with an emphasis on the selection of finishes and fixtures, the development of architectural and millwork details, and the coordination of different trades including MEP and lighting.  This position requires collaboration, excellent communication, presentation, organizational and time management skills. The best candidates will have enthusiasm for environmental sustainability, a dedication to design. and will be passionate about social equity and inclusion.

Candidate qualifications:

  • 2-4 years professional experience
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
  • Experience working on multiple interiors projects: high-end, multi- and single-family residential and/or hospitality/commercial experience
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and organized, with strong graphic and communication skills
  • Professionalism in dealing with a variety of clients, consultants and vendors
  • Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Suite required; SketchUp and AutoCad a plus
  • Availability to visit job sites as needed
