We are a Design / Build – Owners Representative firm looking for highly motivated Designer/Junior  Architect to join our team in the execution of projects from concept to completion.

The successful candidate will have experience facets of the design process interest in mastering skills from initial concepts through Construction Documents development and experience in Construction Administration. The ideal candidate will also have experience or a desire to engage in construction management/contracting to have a hand in seeing their designs built.

 We a looking for a person that can wear many hats, work independently, efficiently, communicate effectively, and has a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture

At least two years professional experience on a variety of projects

Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit on the development of Construction Documents

Proficiency with 3d design software (Sketchup and Rhino preferred)

Proficiency with Adobe CS Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Familiarity with rendering programs such as Lumion, Vray etc, is a plus

Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, AHJs and construction teams

Experience with and knowledge of local codes FBC, FFPC, ADA

Experience with local jurisdictional entitlement processes

Ability to manage a variety of tasks within a tight time schedule

Excellent quantitative, analytical, written and oral communication skills

Strong work ethic and highly developed problem-solving skills

Enjoy working under time constraints and ability to excel under pressure

 

Local south Florida candidates are preferred. (No relocation costs are offered)
