PellOverton Architects is an award-winning, nationally recognized practice. Our work focuses on design for educational spaces, including K-8 independent and charter schools and other creative nonprofit clients, as well as high-end residential interiors and new homes.

We are currently interviewing candidates for a full-time Intermediate level position in our New York office, located in SoHo. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-4 years of prior experience to apply their design and project management skills to a wide range of projects. Responsibilities would include design leadership and project team management, working closely with the partners, leading the development of working drawings and details, and on-site construction phase meetings and progress reviews.

Currently the office is in the construction phase of two large schools in the city, with several other educational and residential projects in design development. This Intermediate position would provide excellent exposure and experience in all aspects and stages of both design and construction for all projects in the office. To be considered, candidates must offer the following:

  • completed architecture degree from an accredited US university or college (B.S, B.Arch, M.Arch)
  • excellent design, communication, and presentation skills
  • solid experience with construction drawing sets in a real-world office setting
  • 100% proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe suite, Microsoft Office applications, and physical model making
  • mature, responsible, and easy going
