Treecraft is a small design-build crew located in Fort Collins, CO that specializes in the design and construction of highly crafted custom treehouses, playgrounds, and small scale unique structures all over Colorado (and occasionally beyond!) We are seeking creative, thoughtful, organized, and driven individuals to expand our design/office team. We are currently a team of 2.5 designers + 7.5 builders. Our projects range from small playhouses to playgrounds to large fully livable treehouses. You are a fit if:

  1. You are creative, thoughtful, thorough, and self motivated.
  2. You have excellent visual communication skills via computer modeling, rendering, and sketching (as well as email, phone, and in person communication)
  3. You are fluent in Rhino 3d, as well as Photoshop, Illustrator, Word, and Excel.
  4. You have at least 3 years experience in architecture / design (design-build specific experience would be a plus!)
  5. You have a strong understanding of wood construction techniques and structural considerations.
  6. You have a strong interest in construction / carpentry / building. (experience in carpentry or the trades is a huge plus)
  7. You have experience in navigating a whole design-build process: client communication, estimating and budgeting, conceptual design development, construction documents, navigating the permit process, producing detailed shop drawings, material takeoffs and ordering, working closely with the build crew to provide support during fabrication and install, general project management.
