Growing Land Use / Expediting Firm seeking qualified applicant. We are in high growth and looking for someone who wants to get in at the beginning and grow with us. We work with the best and want someone who loves real estate development to join us and grow with us. We're looking for a right hand man/woman to join the team. 

Development, Consulting, and Investment are the pillars of our business.

What we do? 

We Project Manage the approval process for plan check, complete diligence and property research, carry out inspection liaison, write entitlements and complete project strategy development. We are the gatekeepers who quarterback the pre-construction process. 

What you can learn? 

Master the pre-development project process, understand complex real estate development applications and approval measures, master communication techniques to garner approvals with high level city officials, work with high end clients in LA, exposure to opportunities and relationships with high level performers.

People with no experience, those with poor communication and follow up, procrastinators, those who want a 'job' while they look for another unrelated field or career.

If you've ever sat in on a planning or land use hearing, have read urbanize or a YIMBY column, have discovered that 'place' matters, and want to be surrounded by professionals who are smart, driven, and also passionate - then we want to talk to you. We are urbanists and we care about the creation of space, the development of community, and the rigor and discipline that produce great work.

We have grown quarter over quarter for 2 years without doing any marketing, because we are good, and now we need an ambitious individual who can step in and work immediately. We have a large workload for you to begin and all of the professional tools to give you success. This is a startup environment not a big corporation, you will help develop systems as they evolve and your opinion and skills matter. We love smart, ambitious people.

We generally operate 8am - 6pm.

Self starters welcomed. 

Type A organized individuals are great.

Task masters are terrific.

Have the tools to start today:

  • Current Laptop or Desktop with webcam and sufficient speed
  • Transportation
  • Current Smartphone
  • Appropriate Attire
  • Living within 5 miles of West LA, Van Nuys, or DTLA will make this role easier for you as those are the LADBS locations.

Your past job experience:

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited university
  • 2-5 years of experience working in this industry
  • Project Management / Architect / Draftsman / Engineering / Construction related role
  • Ability to Read Drawings - elevations vs site plan vs sections, etc...
  • Understanding of Industry Language
  • Technology Savvy - G Suite, PM software, Billing Software, Dropbox, 
  • Project managed 10-20 jobs simultaneously
  • Communicates daily and frequently by phone, email and other software
  • Adapted to a fast paced environment and ability to handle stress, be assertive, and communicate your hangups and goals
  • Understanding of City of Los Angeles Plan Check Approval Process / Submittal Process / LID / Green Building / ADA / MEP / etc...


Be able to project manage and work collaboratively with a team, you will be balancing time at the city with time from your office. You are billing as a consultant. There are opportunities for pay increase, bonus, and new skills based on progress and production. If you are looking to help build something great and get paid commensurately for it, we want you.
