The Project Architect we are seeking has the ability to create a project from initial client meeting to celebratory ribbon cutting. Project management and design tasks will include programming and space planning with user meetings, design coordination with teams, construction documentation with submittals to agencies for approval and finally construction administration through project completion.   Client and engineering consultant interaction with team leadership and strong technical skills required.

Pacific 33 Architects, Inc. is a group of architects and designers focused on understanding the relationship between people and the built environment in order to construct spaces that promote wellness, function and beauty. Based in San Diego, CA, the firm's expertise spans architecture, interior and lighting design, branding and environmental graphics for national healthcare, retail, commercial and hospitality projects.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture
  •  10+ years working experience in architectural design
  • Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
  •  Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge and experience working with local building codes, ADA guidelines, zoning, California Building Code and other applicable laws
  • Willingness to travel and conduct client and project construction administration site visits
  • Healthcare Design and OSHPD experience a plus
  • Shell and Core design and project execution experience a plus
