HARRISON GREEN, is a full-service design, installation and maintenance firm based in New York City. We are a small company that thinks big. From our Bushwick, Brooklyn Studio, Warehouse and Nursery, we work on exciting residential and hospitality projects of all scales throughout the United States and beyond.



We are currently seeking a motivated and highly organized professional to join our team as the firm’s Installation Manager (IM). The IM is the liaison and critical link between the Design and Maintenance departments responsible for the project management and quality control of construction and delivery of new gardens, terraces and indoor plantings for all of HG projects. During an installation the IM is responsible for all aspects of the active project sites including management of the Designer(s), Gardener(s), Crew and sub-contractors to efficiently and flawlessly install Gardens to the HARRISON GREEN standard. The IM will work closely with HG’s Installation Administration Coordinator to plan and organize project timelines with internal and external project team members.


  • Work with HG’s Design Team, Installation Administration Coordinator (IAC) and external consultants to frequently update project schedules;
  • Work with the IAC on confirming the deliverables from subconsultants and vendors for all projects;
  • Ensuring project milestones/goals are met and approved budgets are adhered to;
  • Setting clear work objectives, assigning tasks, managing day-to-day crew performance and efficiently managing and monitoring crew time;
  • Day 1 onsite Installation team briefing, daily on-site stand-up and safety briefing;
  • Photographing and documenting site conditions and progress;
  • Ensuring crew works in a safe, secure and compliant work environment;
  • Ensuring crew is has the proper equipment, supplies and materials for daily operations;
  • Work with HG’s Director of Operations (DOO) to ensure all Installation crew members meet required OSHA on-site guidelines;
  • Work with DOO on interviewing and onboarding Installation crew as needed;
  • Work with DOO on HG’s Annual Review process for Installation crew members



The ideal candidate is a landscape or construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced and creative environment while also possessing the skills and qualities listed below:

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the AEC industry, preferably in NYC;
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills;
  • Passionate about the exterior environment and construction;
  • Horticultural and construction knowledge essential;
  • Proven ability to lead a team, and understands the importance of leading by example;
  • Strong time management, critical thinking and organizational skills;
  • Ability to respect, maintain confidentiality and present themselves in a professional manner;
  • Valid NY state driver’s license a plus;
  • Self-motivated, dependable, hard-working, honest (& fun!)
