Project Coordinator, Interior Design

Leroy Street Studio is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Interior Design department to manage project implementation. The candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and professional, and be familiar with industry standards. The Project Coordinator will be a direct support to the Interior Design team and will work closely with the Accounting team. Salary will be commensurate with experience. 

Responsibilities
• Work closely with Design Team on FF&E purchasing in Studio Designer
• Request samples, pricing, lead times, and freight costs for furnishings and materials
• Maintain running budgets and timelines on multiple projects
• Prepare client proposals and invoices and vendor purchase orders
• Collaborate with Accounting team to balance purchases and client invoices
• Place and track FF&E orders and organize shipment and storage as needed
• Serve as main point of contact for vendors, movers, and installers during final stages of project 
• Organize shipment of international goods
• Coordinate deliveries and installation with Interior Design team
• Develop project closeout documents
• Create and maintain vendor contact lists
• Assemble and edit meeting/project notes 
• Coordinate the administrative tasks for projects

Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing purchasing and implementation in a design firm or in design retail
• Experience building and maintaining strong vendor relationships
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Studio Designer
• Familiarity with high-end fabric, furniture, and lighting vendors, as well as local workrooms 
• Excellent written communication skills
