NANO LLC is an award-winning, New Orleans-based firm specializing in architecture, interior design and custom furniture. Our firm focuses on both commercial and residential architecture, either new construction or renovations, in addition to historic renovations and interior design. We design for projects of small, medium, and large sizes.

NANO LLC is currently seeking to hire an Architectural Project Manager with 5-8 years project management experience to join our growing team in our MidCity office.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Client, team and project coordination including full coordination with structural, civil, MEP and landscape consultants
  • Provide technical guidance and develop innovative solutions for all levels of design challenges
  • Maintain organization of project records and specifications
  • Conduct and document site visits, review and process submittals, RFIs and substitution requests during construction
  • Checks completed reports, plans, estimates and calculations for accuracy.
  • Performs as team leader on projects.
  • Code and life safety research
  • Generate and maintain design schedules
  • Coordinating all consultant work in Revit
  • Track and adhere to time and cost budgets
  • Conduct client and consultant meetings
  • Communicating and preparing applications with Authorities Having Jurisdiction
  • May participate in business development meetings with NANO partners
  • Mentors and directs the work of less experienced staff, participates in professional development reviews and “Lessons Learned” sessions

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture (Licensed/Registered Architect preferred but not required)
  • 5-8 years of project management experience working for an architecture firm
  • Attention to detail
  • Working experience with Revit, (Advanced skills not required, but preferred)
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam Revu and MS Office Required
  • A passion to help solve problems and find alternate solutions
  • Ability to translate design ideas into clear and concise details and construction documents
  • Strong team communication, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction and structure
  • Ability to take direction as well as delegate, take initiative and work both independently or on a team, depending on the project type and magnitude
