Our Expectations

SECTION I: TECHNICAL COMPETENCY

  • Qualified applicants possess an accredited Professional Bachelor’s degree, or higher, from an accredited institution in Human Resources, Communications or related field or equivalent experience;
  • 2+ years of related experience and/or training;
  • Help define, shape, cultivate, and communicate the organizational culture to attract and retain employees, and ensure that HR strategies are aligned with the culture;
  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and administering Human Resource policies, procedures and programs and help resolve work-related problems while continuing to ensure a balanced perspective;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;
  • Establish and maintain confidential files and records;
  • Assist in orientation of new staff by reviewing policies and procedures; also ensures all required documentation is complete and retained in the staff file;
  • They are also involved in both the recruiting of new employees and retention of current ones;
  • The coordinator creates and implements programs for new employees, such as orientation and workshops on company policies;
  • Developing and implementing programs that increase employee retention is another responsibility of the human resource coordinator;
  • Support recruiting events and coordination;
  • Ensures labor law compliance across multiples states by researching state laws and reviewing results with the HR team;
  • Perform a wide variety of responsible administrative, and office support duties in support of the Human Resources Leader and HR team; 
  • Provide general clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Leader; compose and type letters, memoranda, and other correspondence related to assigned human resources programs and activities, prepare a variety of reports including technical reports and status reports;
  • Maintain other records, reports, and logs to conform to a variety of regulations; 
  • Process paperwork for all new hires; conduct initial new employee orientation for purposes of ensuring appropriate completion of payroll documentation; process and maintain I-9 and E-Verify for all new hires;
  • Ensure that all HR filing systems are maintained; audit as requested, making necessary changes as directed;
  • Compile payroll data, maintain documentation and enter payroll data for bi-weekly payroll changes;
  • Assist with benefits administration to include data entry, preparing invoices for processing and payment;
  • Research, compile and analyze data for special HR projects and reports;
  • Continuous focus on process improvement to increase efficiencies and insure complete and accurate records;
  • Assists in planning corporate meetings, and arranging travel as needed.
