Everything in the world is designed by someone, for better or worse, and every project is an opportunity to enhance the built environment and improve the communities in which we live.

We are an innovative architecture studio located in Salt Lake City – with plans for a world-wide presence – and this is the ideology that we bring to each and every project, regardless of scale.

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented designer / BIM professional that brings this same ideology to the table. We are architects who know how to build, utilizing the latest in digital fabrication technologies in our work. We are looking for someone who is also excited about the technological developments in building tools and who is interested in using these tools to improve workflows and disrupt the status quo.

This position is for someone with the following skills and attributes:

·         4+ years minimum of in-office Revit experience

  • An obsession with the leading edge of architecture, an understanding of where the industry is heading, and an eagerness to make an impact
  • Confidence in their abilities, with an understanding that there is always room for growth
  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards & construction details/techniques
  • The ability to understand and implement the design intent of a project throughout construction documentation and administration
  • Cares enough about project deadlines that they’re willing to do what it takes to get the job done
  • The ability to manage projects and provide construction administration
  • The ability to find and apply innovative solutions to unique situations

The ideal candidate should also have the following goals:

·         A desire to grow into a leadership position

·         A desire to utilize the full capabilities of BIM software

·         A drive to improve and make workflows more efficient

Candidates should be able to take a project from preliminary zoning research to a complete construction document set, using Revit as the primary software to show construction details. Candidates should also be able to work and coordinate well with clients, consultants, and contractors to see the project to completion.

The ideal candidate should be able to work in a multitude of mediums and software, though initial work will be focused in Revit with supporting uses of Rhino & Lumion.

You will be working on a range of project types, from commercial & residential, to multi-family and culturally significant projects.

Experience with interpreting the building code is necessary, as is working knowledge / professional experience with construction documents, detailing, and digital modeling.

Pay dependent on experience. Mid-level professionals will find the work fitting.  Licensure is not required – just passion for design and an understanding of its digital representation.

All applicants will receive consideration for the position without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origins, veteran status, and disability.

We are excited about the future of our firm and the industry, and we are eager to hear about how you can help shape that future.
