With a Modern Conceptualism approach to their design aesthetic, this medium sized Architecture & Interior Design Firm have recently seen a surge of new project wins adding to its healthy pipeline of work. As such, they are recruiting for a highly motivated Senior Interior Designer.

Tasked with creating meaningful yet beautiful spaces, the successful candidate will collaborate with a talented team of Architects and Designers working predominantly across Multi Family Residential and Commercial Workplace interiors across all phases from proposal to construction.

Exceptional design skills, stellar communication and relationship building attributes along with full life cycle project exposure from conception to completion are necessary requirements.

The role is collaborative, working with Architects, Project Managers, Clients and Vendors. As the Lead Interior Designer the role in voles leadership and direction of junior staff as well as oversight of the design implementation and project financials across multiple projects.

Responsibilities will include programming, conceptual and schematic design, design development as well as management of budgets and schedules. Creating and delivering presentations as well as estimating material requirements and preliminary costs.

Qualifications required:

* 10-15 years relevant professional interior design experience
* Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
* Corporate interiors and residential design experience
* Stellar leadership, communication and relationship building/management experience
* Strong experience with Contract management, RFP’s and bid documents
* Up to date knowledge of current trends, materials and finishes
* Successful track record coordinating and leading junior staff

The remuneration package will be reflective of experience, with a starting salary range of $100,000 – $125,000pa plus benefits.
