Indidesign is an award-winning design studio with offices on the westside of Los Angeles.  The focus of our studio is on high end hospitality projects (hotel, resorts, spas, restaurants) but our work at times may extend to luxury residential, retail and other aspects of commercial design.  

Indidesign is looking for talented  interior designers with versatile skills and a background in commercial development or high-end hospitality to join a dynamic team in a busy studio. 

The opportunity is to take ownership on an array of projects working closely with the Design Director and Co-founder of the studio.  

We currently have more than one position open and we encourage all qualified applicants to apply. 

Education and Experience:

Candidates must have a degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution and at least 3- 7 years of post-graduate experience. Emphasis on hospitality design is preferred.

Our studio does not compartmentalize and the ideal candidates should be well-rounded designers with a skill set that includes concept design, space planning, material knowledge, documentation, attention to detail and a balanced combination of both interior design and architecture. They must be comfortable working autonomously, show initiative and have strong communication skills.

Required Skills:

  • Experienced in working in all phases of a project from concept to completion
  • Diverse skill set – Ability to design, prepare presentations, space plan, and put together a detailed drawing se.t
  • Excellent Photoshop, InDesign, and AutoCAD - Sketch Up is not essential but a welcome skill.
  • Comfortable developing interior concepts into a design presentation.
  • Proven ability to pull together a cohesive drawing set and guide more junior designers through the process.
  • Understanding of construction details.  
  • Ability to review shop drawings and submittals
  • Ability to produce material, plumbing fixtures, hardware, and lighting schedules.
  • Knowledge of FF&E specifications.
  • Ability to think creatively and functionally to reach innovative design solutions.
  • Strong communication skills both with internal team and outside consultants, clients, and vendors
  • Understanding of basic US codes and ADA requirements 
  • Self-motivated with the ability manage time to meet deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Mature, responsible, and reliable
  • Comfortable working independently as well as offering guidance to juniors
  • Positive attitude, team player with a hands-on approach


  • Develop and produce presentation packages, independently or as part of a team.
  • Develop detailed designs through space plans, color elevations, sketches, and materials.
  • Produce Cohesive Design Development Packages including Drawings, Schedules, and Specifications, independently or as part of a team.
  • Coordinate with architect and outside consultants throughout all project phases
  • Coordinated and interface with consultants. Review architects’ drawings and facilitate coordination.
  • Review shop drawings, and submittals to ensure adherence to the design intent.
  • Manage and mentor junior team.
