David Armour Architecture seeks candidates for Junior/Intermediate Designer to support design and delivery of high-end residential projects under the direction of the Principal. Located on-site in Lower Haight at our inspiring new light-filled studio with 18-foot ceilings.

JUNIOR/INTERMEDIATE DESIGNER ROLE: Key support for projects across the firm, including but not limited to articulating design elements; documenting as-builts; preparing construction documents and presentations; participating in site visits; assisting with project workflows; and resourcing client and company needs. The qualified candidate will have unique exposure to multiple projects at all levels and an opportunity to demonstrate value and grow within the firm.


  • 3-7 years architecture experience
  • First-hand familiarity with architectural drawing sets and the design/delivery process
  • Solid command of AutoCAD; Revit experience a plus
  • Proficiency with common presentation/office programs
  • Versatility - self-starter with solid work ethic
  • Clear communication skills, positive attitude and comfort taking direction
  • 4-year architecture degree
  • US-based (only)


  • Has residential experience
  • Demonstrates a passion for high-end, elegant design and precision details
  • Is very detailed-oriented and organized; likes process and follow-through
  • Has a healthy sense of humor and diversity of interests to add to our friendly, dynamic atmosphere

SCHEDULE: Full-time

COMPENSATION: competitive salary, commensurate with experience
