We are looking for an individual capable of handling the day to day management and production of custom residential projects, under the direct supervision of the firm's Principals.  

The Project Manager will act as the leader for one or more project teams, and manage the development and delivery of various projects.  The Project Manager will be expected to regularly interact with the clients for projects under their management, and will be responsible for overseeing communications with the project team (both contractors and consultants).

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Prioritizing, delegating, and coordinating work assignments and project team members (both in-house staff and consultants).
  • Production, oversight and coordination of all regulatory approval documents.  A working understanding of the NYC approvals process is a must.  This includes DOB, LPC, and Co-op/Condo board approval processes.  
  • Production, oversight and coordination of detailed construction documents.  This includes evaluating appropriate materials and systems required to execute a design, as well as the development of appropriate custom details.
  • Construction Administration duties, including shop drawing review, RFI responses, and punch list creation. 

Applicant should have 5-10 years experience and be comfortable working on various types of custom residential projects.  The applicant must possess strong technical, graphic, and oral communication skills, be self-motivated, and be an excellent team leader. Strong drafting skills are required, and experience with VectorWorks is preferred.  Salary will be commensurate with experience.
