FB/ is a Management / Architecture / Design agency that partners with private, institutional and non-profit organizations to help envision and execute strategic planning in architecture, real estate and construction. 

We have an immediate need for an Intermediate Architect, with a strong passion for design and construction to assist with developing and managing private residential projects in the North Fork of Long Island and Upstate New York. This is a freelance role and the position will begin as a part-time remote position with the potential for full-time work following a performance review after 4 weeks. 

Qualifications:

  •  5 plus years of work experience in architecture and construction administration;
  • Ability to complete a drawing set through Concept Design, Design Development, and Construction;
  • Advanced knowledge in developing high end residential detailing;
  • Strong command of project management, including experience in developing and maintaining project budgets and schedules;
  • Proficiency in Autocad or equivalent, Adobe Creative suite and Microsoft Suite;
  • Strong design, 3D and graphic presentation abilities;
  • Skilled at multitasking and working toward multiple deadlines at once;
  • Organized, self-starter who can work independently and are comfortable working in a remote work environment;
  • Ability to take direction and follow through with independent motivation;
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Candidates must have an active driver's license.

Location:

Due to the pandemic, this position will be primarily remote, however, candidates must be located in or near New York City.
