The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience working with residential clients on all aspects of remodel and new home architectural design. Primary Duties - Architectural design working directly with clients on remodeling, addition and new home projects from design inception to construction finish. Requires creative, technical and administrative responsibilities.

  • Proficient with applicable technology.  Especially with 3D CAD employed to conceive, analyze and present built solutions from early conceptualizations to production documents. 
  • Possess a working knowledge of residential UDC, construction practices and practicalities.
  • Capable researcher. 
  • Understanding of structures.


  • Organized & focused employing CAD 2D/3D output, sketches, images, written word, others.
  • Proficient in documenting existing conditions, producing as-builts and maintaining records associated with projects.
  • Capable of successfully managing detail and productively performing the more practical process requirements.
  • Able to meet submission requirements & timelines.
  • Basic computer & network competency beyond CAD/design software: email, spreadsheets, databases, word processors, etc. Apple Mac OS a plus.


  • Able to be highly productive working independently or in collaboration with other team members.
  • Interested in continuing development; licensure if not already obtained.


  • Masters degree, or greater, in Architecture. Desire for licensure if not already.
  • 4+ years of experience as lead designer in residential architecture.
  • Attributable portfolio of creative, high quality residential architectural design.
  • Experience managing architectural design process including managing clients and other design professionals.

Work will occur under guidance of WI registered architect.
