Tryba Architects is a Denver-based firm with a national reputation for design excellence specializing in the full integration of architecture, interior design, urban design and preservation. We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Project Administrator responsible for various administrative duties in a fast-paced professional environment to help support a creative, entrepreneurial design firm of over 50 people. The ideal candidate has experience working in the AEC industry and is detail-oriented and prepared to assist with all aspects of project support. Maintains a personable attitude with problem-solving aptitude and ability to maintain professional and easy communications with the team, client, and subcontractors, vendors and subconsultants working on the project.

 The successful candidate possesses:

  • Education requirements: Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-10 years of administrative experience in the AEC industry
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, a high sense of urgency, a desire to grow professionally, and a willingness to take initiative and work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
  • An ability to prioritize and handle matters quickly and efficiently
  • Exceptional communication skills - verbal and writing
  • Sophisticated, upbeat, mature and energetic personality with forward-thinking ability
  • Ability to readily build rapport and trust with both employees and clients
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam and all Adobe Suite products (InDesign in particular)
  • Proficiency with MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities include:

  • Ability to coordinate and track documents from architects, engineers, contractors, city and county staff
  • Communicates directly with and on behalf of the project teams to co-workers, clients, and colleagues; compiles, processes and helps to execute various tasks and documents
  • Assists with preparation of job schedules, budget and cost tracking, construction meetings including agenda and invitations
  • Creates and maintains construction administration logs; Follows up with internal and external team on status of submittals and RFIs
  • Coordinates and records site visits and punch walks
  • Assist with AIA Contracts
  • Completes archiving of project once complete
  • Provides assistance to architectural staff (copies, scans, filing, research, typing, etc.); multiple calendar management and appointment settings.
