Intermediate Architect

COOKFOX Architects is seeking a practiced Intermediate Architect with excellent design skills, minimum 5 years professional experience, and an in-depth knowledge of Revit software. The position will require a strong working knowledge of Revit and all applicants should have managed at least one project using the program. Candidates should demonstrate interest in working in a collaborative studio environment, have strong convictions about environmental sustainability, and be passionate about social equity and inclusion

Candidate qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years professional experience
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture
  • Knowledge of building codes, standards and structures
  • Experience in construction document preparation and field observation
  • Comfort in a leadership role; experience in working with diverse clients, consultants and vendors
  • Supervisory and management skills required as well as the ability to guide and mentor architectural staff
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and organized, with strong graphic and communication skills
  • A strong working knowledge of Revit and Adobe Suite required; proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3DMax a plus
  • Availability to visit job sites as needed
