The Marketing Coordinator position offers an opportunity to join one of the top architectural design firms in the country, committed to embracing architecture as a catalyst for change. The candidate must be highly motivated and passionate about architecture/design and driven to excel in a mission-driven, collaborative, and fast-paced work environment. The applicant must have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong graphic sensibility, and ability to work efficiently and maintain focus and composure under multiple deadlines.

The candidate will join an experienced, creative team responsible for securing new business opportunities and shaping LOHA’s presence to the outside world. Core activities will include a wide-range of long and short-term projects that include creating written and visual materials such as presentations, proposals and publications, as well as research and development into new marketing opportunities and initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

· Working closely with principal, directors, and marketing team to research and identify new business development and marketing opportunities for the firm.

· Collaboration with team members in producing high-quality qualification packages, proposals, and presentations, including soliciting, and coordinating information from internal staff, external consultants, and other team members for inclusion in proposal and presentation materials

· Award submission procurement and development

· Coordinating and supporting photo shoots

· Expanding firm’s profile by identifying professional networking and promotional opportunities including conferences, events, and tracking important dates

· Drafting and coordinating external communications content, i.e. press releases, project narratives, and monthly newsletter

· Upkeep of firm collateral and maintain digital archive of project information, imagery and lead tracking.


· Bachelor’s degree in architecture, design, art/history, marketing, or communications

· Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in Marketing/Business Development or practicing Architecture at an architecture / design firm.

· Creative, high energy, positive attitude in addition to being well organized and idea driven

· Excellent written, communication, and research skills, with the ability to craft and articulate text for a targeted purpose

· Highly developed graphic design skills, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) as well as fluency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

· Storytelling aptitude through visuals—the ability to craft ideas into compelling messages for cohesive presentations and other deliverables.

· Self-motivated, ability to multi-task, and confident in a complex multi-faceted environment

· Understanding of architectural drawings, plans, and current market trends

· Interest in/knowledge of current events and urbanism
