SECONEA Architects is seeking an intermediate architect with 2-4 years of professional experience and a project architect with 5-8 years of professional experience.

SECONEA Architects is a start-up studio founded to serve the under-served with good work. SECONEA is a cordial community as our company culture values servant leadership, collaboration, newness, and appreciation. Our current project types range from custom single-family houses & ADUs, multi-family houses, commercial interiors, and workplace.

Candidate will work on an array of project types from inception to completion. A generalist background and ability as an architect to take on a wide variety of short and medium-term assignments in all phases of project development and construction administration will be highly valued.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and develop advanced architectural documentation and presentation.
  • Anticipate and develop solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
  • Effectively communicate concepts to project teams, verbally, through graphics and in written means.
  • Project Architect requires proficiency in completing technical drawings for construction and city plan check for permit approvals. 

Preferred Attributes, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Collaborative with humility and respecting of company values and culture
  • Excellent time management and prioritizing skills, able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to work both self-directed and in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Detail and task-oriented, with a passion for excellence. 
  • Proficiency in Revit LT, Rhino or Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suites.
  • Experiences with California Building code, city permit process, and construction administration are preferred for the intermediate and are required for the project archtiect.
  • Professional Degree in Architecture.
