Our busy, friendly, and socially conscious architecture, planning, and sustainability design studio in Brooklyn is hiring!  We are Cycle Architecture + Planning and our diverse client base includes public, private, and non-profit organizations.  We are looking for a person, with junior to intermediate architectural skills, who will be able to handle a variety of tasks in support of our efforts to best serve our clients. 

Ideal professional (post-degree) experience: We seek someone who is familiar with a range of architectural services and is comfortable supporting multiple projects of any scale simultaneously.  Experience creating and maintaining contract documents throughout the design and construction process is a must.  Experience with net-zero energy building and environmentally sound design and construction practices is desirable.  People skills are important.

Education requirements: An accredited (professional) B.Arch or M.Arch degree

Skills required:  

• Ability to create architectural plans and models, (we work primarily in Revit, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite)
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Interest and ability to perform independent research related to our work
• Ability to maintain personal organization.
• Sufficient construction experience to handle the day-to-day on innovative architecture and energy projects.
• Someone with superior organizational and communications skills such as writing and active listening
• Facility with tools of the trade: Revit, Adobe, etc.
• Knowledge of building systems and equipment
• Knowledge of building best practices and detailing for energy efficiency
• Collaborative mindset, energy, engagement, desire to contribute and grow with us
• This is a partially client-facing position

This is a full time, salaried position - salary and benefits commensurate with experience and skills.
