AC Martin is an innovative, award winning architecture and interior design firm located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.  Our work is a mix of Market Rate Housing, Urban Mixed Use, Hospitality, Higher Education (all campus building types), Community Colleges, K-12, Industrial, Civic/Government, Planning and Programming.  We are looking for highly talented, motivated, and creative individuals to be contributing members of our design culture.   Be part of an innovative and fun loving design team working on a variety of current architectural and interior project types of all scales.

We are looking for well-rounded designers who believe that interiors, furniture, lighting, environmental graphics are all part of a holistic design process. We approach each design problem with the same unique fortitude, whether it be a building, a restaurant, a bench, or a planning study. We need team members - thinkers and tinkerers who are insatiably curious, creative, and inventive and most importantly must be passionate about their work, no matter the scale or project. Candidates need to be self-driven, confident, and able to work collaboratively as a team. 

Requirements:      

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• The ability to be a contributing member of a design team from day one. Everyone has a unique voice – we want to hear yours.
• Experience in client and consultant communication and TEAM WORK.
• Bachelor of Architecture, Interior Architecture or Interior Design Degree & 3+ years’ experience for junior and intermediate candidates.
• Bachelor of Architecture, Interior Architecture or Interior Design Degree & 8+ years’ experience for intermediate and senior candidates.
• Residence in or near Los Angeles & must be legally able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Portfolio of exceptional work authored by candidate.
• Adobe Creative Suite.
• CAD, REVIT.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling.

Preferred:  

• Knowledge of commercial grade furniture specifications process
• LEED Accreditation
• Graphic presentation skills
