Interior Design Assistant / Sales Support

Unique Stone Imports, a high-end import Company of fine natural stone and tile, has an opportunity for a full-time Interior Design Assistant to join our team. As the Interior Design Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide AutoCAD drawings and administrative support for the Sales Team / Interior Designers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare AutoCAD drawings
• Prepare material estimates
• Create invoices and purchase orders
• Research and price materials
• Prepare sample boards
• Ability to field and address client questions in a timely and accurate manner
• General office tasks including filing, answering phones, and guiding perspective clients on tours of our showroom
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Interior Design (or design degree in progress)
• Attention to details, highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of design principles is vital, working knowledge of construction methods is helpful.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with accounting software is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Social media and design posting experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) is required.
• Sketch-Up, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other 3D rendering skills experience a plus but not required.
