About this role:

A well established and prestigious NYC Architecture firm based in Manhattan, is looking to hire a talented architect (6-12 years) to work on high-profile Higher Education/Institutional projects. This award-winning firm is extremely competitive and has developed a reputation for producing refined, high-quality projects locally and across the world.

Key responsibilities:

• Working as part of the design team to ensure the organized and speedy delivery of projects from the early design stages until its completion. 
• Ability to coordinate tasks across multiple projects concurrently.
• Manage junior staff working on all project stages.
• Coordinate project documentation with consultants.
• Review design, drafting, detailing, building materials, building codes, construction techniques and costs with the design team

Skills and experience:

• A professional degree in Architecture (B. Arch/M. Arch)
• A minimum of 6 years of post-graduate experience.
• Background in Academic/Institutional projects is desired. 
• Ability to understand and translate design intent into technical documents.
• Experience across all project phases from concept design to construction.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Revit proficiency is a big plus.
