With degrees from University of Pennsylvania and University of Michigan, Principal Doug Larson has been in private practice in New York City and its environs for over 25 years. Junior Architect/ Draftsperson:

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic architecture office in midtown New York City and Pine Plains New York currently working on high-end residences, small scale institutions, and boutique retail. Seeking a full time entry-level Junior Architect with 0 to 3 years experience. The candidate reports to the Senior Architects and the Principal at the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Work with others as a team member on multiple projects
  • Communicate with Contractors and Clients as necessary
  • Provide administrative support as needed
  • Maintain and follow-up on project task lists
  • Provide support to other members of the team
  • Promote best practices, procedures, and processes that make our firm more efficient

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree in Technical Drawing or Architecture is required, please provide GPA on your application.
  • Candidates must be extremely organized and capable of multi-tasking
  • Proficiency in Autocad 2018, MS Office, and Excel. Rendering skills are a plus.
  • Ability to take direction from project architects and work on multiple projects in an accurate and timely manner
  • Must be a team player with a desire to work in the office and in the field
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must have legal work status in the United States
