We are looking for a full-time Project Captain, who will fulfill an architectural role focused on accessibility and on-site reporting, to join our growing and fast-paced team. This unique position requires experience in multi-family and hospitality architecture with comprehensive and thorough knowledge of accessibility codes. The right person for this role will have construction administration experience, and will be an excellent communicator and on-site problem solver. This position will require travel to timeshare resorts of a major hospitality corporation across North America (in beautiful locales!) to conduct accessibility assessments, collaborate with the Owner-Architect-Contractor team, create reports and other site documentation in order to develop scopes of work. These documented site assessments will then be coordinated with our team for developing drawing sets to complete the required accessibility upgrades. The Project Captain, while not traveling, will help produce these drawing sets as well as redline drawings by the team.

Depending upon experience, there is an opportunity for this position to grow into a Project Manager and/or QAQC Specialist, as our firm also specializes in accessibility and affordable housing. For the current scope of work, it is not required to be located in Los Angeles but you must be willing to travel to a new site an average of 2x per month. There may be opportunities to work on other, smaller projects within the office, such as commercial tenant improvements, restaurants, multi-family, etc. as time allows.
