United Design Works is looking to hire a project architect to work at a new architecture office. I am sole proprietor design office with projects in single family residential, large scale residential development and municipal building design. I am looking for a talented and motivated project architect  to contribute to all phases of design. Wide ranging responsibilities include design collaboration, detailing, project scheduling and management, drawing production, attendance at Owner-Architect meetings, attending and facilitating community outreach and approval hearings as well as construction administration. Ideal candidates would also be interested in helping the firm in its branding project and be excited to work on graphics, website, social media, standardization, renderings, competitions, and any other firm critical clerical work.

This opportunity is best suited for somebody looking to gain a significant amount of experience and responsibility quickly.  Possibility for this position to transition to full time if desired.

Revit experience strongly preferred. Work is done on Revit, Sketchup with Vray and Lumion for in house and sketch visualization. Ability to sketch well by hand is highly valued.

Location:

• In these extraordinary times I have resorted to work from home.  This position would be remote to start, but I will add a single location at an office share in NYC.
