We’re excited to add a new project manager to our team and we’re looking for someone to join us in our devotion to design. We’re looking for someone able to communicate directly with production team, clients, and consultants. An L+S project manager moves back and forth between hand drawings and computer modeling/rendering and has the ability to consider and convey abstract ideas using images and drawings.

We’re a small firm, and project managers must be well rounded to fit our needs well. We expect that anyone applying will have strengths and weaknesses but overall – we’re looking for a philosophy and personality fit as much as anything else. Critical skills: are hand drawing, design acumen, design passion, Revit experience, and construction drawing experience for cold mountain climates.

It’s important that applicants understand Colorado and are familiar with the area where most of our projects are located.  Consistent office hours are expected although the specific hours of the day are flexible. We make reasonable allowances for parenting, personal time, powder days, and long weekends. Active community engagement and nonprofit participation outside of work hours is encouraged, and we offer paid time off to encourage community engagement. The L+S benefits package includes health care, standard vacation, personal time, and sick time, overtime, community service paid time off, continuing education, and a 401k matching benefit.

Must love architecture. If you don't keep up with the culture of architecture in America - this may not be a good fit.

Only complete applications will receive a reply. Applicants please send:

  1. resume explaining software proficiency and years of full time experience
  2. portfolio that must include some personal work
  3. cover letter really explaining your most recent role and responsibilities, include comments on any experience with code (building and/or land use codes), and if you primarily focused on any specific phase of work in the past.
  4. at least two recent references

Applications are only accepted if they are emailed to employment@landandshelter.com. Emailing a link for download is fine. We expect to be collecting applications for a couple weeks and then proceeding with interviews in January. Thank you for applying to L+S.
