MALONE is a growing full-service, high-end residential interior design studio seeking an enthusiastic designer to grow with us! Projects range from partial renovations to whole house reconstruction. With clients throughout the Bay Area and California, you will have the opportunity to explore various client styles and locations. Ideally this would start as a part-time contract position with a three month trial period and the opportunity for growth. The MALONE studio is located in Potrero Hill with easy access to the SFDC and surrounding vendors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist principal designer from concept to completion of project
Source materials online and in person
Source furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories online and in person
Produce design presentations per principal designer
Project management
Draft detailed space plans, furniture plans, elevations, and CD sets
Draft custom furniture and construction details as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience in interior design firm, ideally on construction and renovation projects
Degree in architecture or interior design
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, SketchUp, and hand sketching
Portfolio showcasing previous works in residential or commercial interior design
Familiarity with SFDC and local vendors
A professional attitude with the ability and willingness to juggle various tasks
A self-motivated, independent worker
