Junior Designer needed to join our Architecture, Design and Development firm. Job responsibilities include:

• Ideally 1 year of professional experience at an interior design firm
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and ability to meet project timelines. "Quick" person
• Knowledge and computer skills include AutoCAD, Sketch up, rendering capabilities a plus, and Adobe Programs
• Assisting in Interior design & decoratives management of a project from the design phase through installation
• Assisting in Maintenance of materials library and vendor list, research of new vendors, galleries, designers, going to new showrooms etc.
• Assisting in Developing and maintaining a furnishings budget, preparing and tracking furniture orders
• Assisting in Sourcing of plumbing, hardware, fabrics, architectural and decorative finishes
• Assisting in Specifying furnishings and fabrics in schedules
• Assisting in coordination with clients, millworkers, furniture vendors, including design/management of custom furniture fabrication
• Assisting in Preparation of furniture plans, interior design elevations and detailed custom furniture drawings
• Daily communication with internal architecture team and head designer

Benefits:

• Salary: $45,000 - $55,000

• Full time, Monday - Friday in person
