Interior Designer - Custom Residential - Long Island

We are exclusively representing a woman owned, boutique Long Island based firm that has an established luxury residential clientele in the NYC metro area. They have an immediate need for an Interior Designer with 2-6 years of experience, to lead and assist firm’s owner in a variety of projects from concept through completion. This is a tremendous opportunity to learn hands on from a very successful entrepreneur and further your career in the design world.

Duties include:

• Furniture plans, detailed drawings, and renderings
• Complete drawings for custom furniture or millwork
• Accurately survey and measure existing site conditions
• Participate in all client meetings and site visits
• Create client presentations in Google Slides
• Coordinate orders with vendors
• Manage project inventory
• Schedule and track shipments
• Coordinate deliveries / oversee installations
• Organize office and in-house material library

Technical Skills required:

• AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Photoshop
• Strong knowledge of Studio Webware and Google Suites

This is a permanent position with base compensation in the $65-85k range, full benefits, bonus potential and fantastic professional growth. You will be required to be present for site visits and potentially 1-2 days in the office until things return back to normal.
