We are seeking an experienced Construction Administrator whose home base can be any one of our offices located in Somerville, NJ, Easton, PA or Philadelphia, PA.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Architecture or Engineering degree required.
Architectural or Professional Engineering License preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of construction experience.
A working technical knowledge of construction materials, means & methods.
Clear understanding of standard concepts, practices and procedures in the field of Architecture.
Ability to effectively maintain records and files.
Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as the liaison between contractors, client/owners and the architectural team.
QA/QC construction documents
Prepare Field Reports
Attend Construction Meetings
Prepare Meeting Minutes
Review and process Shop Drawings and related submittals
Process contractor’s Applications for Payment
Facilitate the processing of RFI’s
Maintain submittal logs
Coordinate with consultants
Resolve problems that may arise on the jobsite
Maintain the quality and design intent of the design architects
