Page & Turnbull specializes in the preservation, rehabilitation, repair, adaptive reuse, and maintenance of historic structures. Founded in 1973, Page & Turnbull is an approximately 45-person company with offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Sacramento. Our Sacramento office has an immediate need for an experienced Architectural Construction Administration Specialist to lead the construction oversight for two projects in Northern California.  The position will be a full-time, salaried position.

Minimum Requirements

  • Over 10-years of architectural experience with a minimum of 5-years on construction phase oversight of complex commercial and institutional projects.
  • Professional Architecture degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Proven ability to manage clients and meet their expectations.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to project sites for field visits and in person meetings.
  • Fluency in the Microsoft Office program suite, AutoCAD, and REVIT.
  • Architectural licensure (preferred but not required).
  • Review submittals, research and respond to RFI’s, associated reports, and change request reviews.


  • Travel to site to perform field visits and prepare Field Reports.
  • Coordinate with client representatives and consultants on their reviews of construction phase submittals and RFI’s.
  • Review General Contractor payment requests and change orders.
  • Prepare and coordinate with consultants on document revisions.
  • Participate in Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings.
  • Lead meetings with utilities, outside consultants and other team members.
  • Maintain positive communications and relationships with client, outside consultants and other team members.
  • Coordinate with internal design team and senior staff members.
  • Collaborate with and supervise/mentor other staff that assist on the construction phase.


  • Experience in historic preservation and adaptive reuse, and an appreciation of historic buildings and places.
  • Strong decision-making ability related to resolving complex coordination issues and ability to resolve issues to maintaining design quality and protect company interests.
  • Communicative, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and dependable with strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at a time if required.
  • Ability to maintain technology required for remote working during the CV-19 pandemic.
