Accountant / Office Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable

  • Perform day-to-day billing, collections and accounts receivable functions
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Assist with month and year-end general ledger closings including preparation of adjusting journal entries
  • Perform bi-monthly payroll functions utilizing ADP system

Accounts Payable

  • Receive purchase orders and invoices and issue checks and wire transfers
  • Provide invoice and vendor aging report weekly to Principal
  • Prepare monthly credit card reconciliations 
  • Function as liaison to vendors and other related parties
  • Maintain comprehensive Accounts Payable filing system 
  • Prepare year end 1099’s 
  • Other related duties as assigned 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors’ degree in Accounting
  • 5 years related experience, Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
  • Experience with ADP or related payroll programs
  • Experience in Construction, working with Architects and Interior Designers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Candidate who is organized and willing to handle projects from A to Z , a problem solver with good communication skills for our high end clientele
  • We are looking for a candidate with strong multitasking skills, team spirit and excellent customer service sense.
