We are looking for a full-time Accessibility Site Specialist to join our growing and fast-paced team. This unique position requires extensive experience in multi-family and hospitality architecture with comprehensive and thorough knowledge of accessibility codes. This position will require travel to existing properties throughout the Western United States to conduct accessibility assessments. PPP will be provided, along with iPad and all necessary equipment. These documented site assessments will then be coordinated with our team for developing drawing sets to complete the required accessibility upgrades.

Depending upon experience, there is an opportunity for this position to grow into a Project Manager and/or QAQC Specialist, as our firm also specializes in accessibility and affordable housing. For the current scope of work, it is not required to be located in Los Angeles but you must be willing to travel to a new site almost every week for the upcoming months. Most travel is to California, Arizona, Utah, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • 5+ years of experience with recent, comprehensive experience dealing with accessibility codes
  • Software Experience to include AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred
  • ArchiCAD and Ajera experience is a bonus
  • Thorough organization skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Excellent drawing coordination and documentation skills
  • Resourceful and efficient
  • Ability to resolve complex issues and develop solutions
