Schiller Projects is an award-winning design and architecture firm based in Manhattan. We are a highly dynamic and collaborative firm with exciting and diverse new projects. The basis of our work is derived from the outgrowth of a rigorous investigation into the underlying data behind each challenge, be it workplace programming, product development, or freestanding design. We leverage our expertise in built design, graphic design, branding, and strategy to develop information-based, client-centered solutions.

This summer we will launch our Martha’s Vineyard pop-up, which will serve as a hub for research, workshops and conversation around issues in sustainable building, ecology, climate and the impact on local communities. The hub will function as a part office, part gallery and part retail to create an immersive experience and engage the community during the peak summer months.

We are looking for creative designers who can achieve highly functional architectural and interiors projects. This position will be based in our newly established Martha’s Vineyard office. This is for an eager graduate student who is studying in the New York or Boston areas and is interested in spending their summer working on architecture and interior projects at the intersection of sustainability and design and who will be a key player in making our new office a success.

This is an exciting paid internship opportunity during which you will be incorporated into the studio design process as well as the operations of a newly formed entity. Expect to collaborate not only on the design for projects of various types and sizes but also to participate in the workshops/events we host and assist with studio operations as needed. This role is client-facing on a day-to-day basis and you will be expected to interact with clients and members of the public as this location is an outpost of our work.

Involvement will include working on graphics, rendering for early design, 3D modeling, and documentation in all phases, as well as coordination of design and construction documents with consultants. Project site visits and office presentations will be potential opportunities for the internship experience.
