NEW THEME INC. is an award winning boutique size Design-Build practice. We have a focus on custom retail, restaurants, and residential projects. We design and build our projects that have been featured in many publications, including The LA Times, the AIA Home Tours, and some European publications. Some of our projects have been LEED Silver certified; we are looking for a junior to Mid-Level architect/designer with a BArch or March to join our team.

The candidate must have a minimum of 4-6 years of experience, possess strong organizational skills, committed, and looking to grow in a fast paced high-end design firm. It is important to be able to manage several projects at once and enjoy working as a team member, as well as, independently.

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Must be currently qualified to work in the United States
  • 4-6 years professional architectural experience
  • Understanding of Zoning & Code requirement
  • Proficient in Autocad required
  • Proficient in Revit required
  • Proficient in Photoshop/Adobe Suite
  • MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High proficiency in PC & Mac
  • Experience with highly-detailed millwork and cabinetry a plus
  • Bachelors Degree in Architecture (minimum)

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working directly with Project Manager/Principals throughout project
  • Maintain frequent daily communications and keep detailed documentation for Project Manager/Principal
  • Assist in all phases of architectural services including site measurements, preparation of plans, schematic design, and design development
  • Proficiency in detailing, preparing and organizing plans
  • Ensure consistency with quality standards
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Posses strong organizational skills
