We’re looking for an inventive, attentive, and knowledgeable Architect to join our team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about design, technologically savvy, into the details, and can work independently as well as collaboratively.

Our mission is to create value for our clients by merging quality in design, materials and Off-Site delivery methods to accelerate and enhance the development and construction phases. Established in 2019, Zengitect was founded as a business entity of the vertically integrated Ikigai Group of Companies. Ikigai solves a unique set of problems for customers and developers; it has the ability to take an idea and create a fully developed, turnkey building product. The Ikigai Group of Companies is purposely structured to control the entire development process, from customer acquisition to land development, project financing, procurement, construction, and delivery under the umbrella of its vertically integrated business operations framework.


  • Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation and recommendation of design solutions that best meets the client’s needs.
  • Provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, design and coordination of large complex projects.
  • Independently applies advanced architectural concepts and designs in all phases of development (Concept, Schematic, DD, CD)
  • Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
  • May provide technical guidance to less experienced architects/architectural staff.

Required Experience:

  • (6 or more years' experience) Non-licensed architectural staff, on track for Licensure
  • Professional degree in Architecture
  • Proficient in REVIT, BIM 360, and Rendering
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in immersive Building Information Modeling and design coordination, performing clash detection and resolution, model checks
  • Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design) Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite software.
  • Excellent communication skills; presentations to Clients, Planning Boards and Various Committees
  • Exceptional organizational skills including prioritization, multi-tasking, and managing projects.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions and schedules
  • Project Management and Construction Administration processes Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with Pre-fabrication methods such as Volumetric Modular and Panelization
  • Experience with Navisworks, Synchro and various facilities maintenance systems
  • Proficiency with Autodesk FormIT, Dynamo script writing, BIM 360 Suite
  • Proficiency with Construction Management platforms; Procore, Plan Grid
  • Understanding of constructability of commercial projects
  • Experience with 4D visual scheduling and COBie data preparation and turnover
